Easter!

Well as you can see the Easter bunny visited us this Easter holiday.

Cleanning Grandmas House!

Easter week end my Grandma was able to have all of her children come home. ( witch I think she enjoyed very much) They help her clean out her hole house. Even rooms I had no idea she had. Mind you I have lived in vernal my hole life, so I have been in and out. In fact my family lived in the house  for 18 months. I don't know if that is good to tell or not. I well let you decide. I will say that she is the best water sorager I have ever seen. She rented this large garbage container so we could throw away whatever she wanted us to. As you can see it sprung a leek. that is mostly form the water that we pulled up from the storage room. There was also some old fruit and fish she had caned. Among other things. I want to put a side note in. My son, and his cousins played in that water, or what ever you want to call it. If I wouldn't have been in such a hurry to get him clean so we could eat I think I would have remembered to take pictures. From Head to Toe is all I am to going to say.
We worked on the house for three days, and I will tell you they were some of the funnest three days of my life. I have always loved to spend time with my family on both the Haslem and Southam side. When you get my mom and her siblings together it's like nothing I know. It is pure joy. I was also able to see two of my cousins from Canada. They were able to say @ my house and it was so enjoyable. I was so exited for everyone to come and so sad when they all left. Randan was are personal Chef  for dinner all three nights, and he did an amazing job just like I knew he would. He has always impressed me in this category. He is impressive in many ways. There were many hands that helped her this week end, and I know she is truly thankful.

Michief!

I have to throw these ones in every once on a while. You know the ones where you catch your kids doing things they shouldn't.
The top two are of tucker playing with Randans tackle box. He didn't have any shoes by the door so he stole his Fathers and went out to the garage.
The last one was just the other day. He had eaten his dinner really well,so I told him he could have Ice Cream. I was laying on the couch watching a program on TV when I got that oh my heck where and what is my kid doing kind of quite, I need to find him right now. Feeling.  He had got some of his toys, as you  can see, and dumped the melted ice cream out on the counter, and was running the toys trough the ice cream.

Slime!

I was on Pintrest a while ago, and noticed the recipe for Slime. I thought that because Tucker loves play dough so much that he might like this. I got all the stuff for it, and we decided to do it today. I don't know if you can tell by the pictures but is yellow. it was  way easy and fun to make. I think we will be doing some more.

Table Runner!

A month or two ago I got this runner at DI. It was just a plain tan runner I new that if I just put the plain tan runner down it would fad into my table, and then what is the point?  I decided I would ad some felt flower and leaves, and ether glue them on or sew them on I tried a few different styles and didn't like any of them. I also didn't want to spend a hole lot of time on it. As I thought about it for a while this is what I came up with. I really like it.
To tell the truth. This is the second attempt. If I was to flip it over you would see my first attempt. I missed a letter (N). Who wants something miss spelled? I don't!  I am already know for my spelling. I didn't want to give any one ammunition.
Thanks to Randan he caught my mistake.
The frustrating part is I wrote the word down on a piece of paper so I wouldn't make a mistake. It didn't look right, so  I typed it on word perfect, so its not like I didn't do my home work, and try to avoid catastrophe.

Owl!

The other night when I was getting Tucker ready for bed Randand hollered at me wanting to see if I wanted to see his owl. I did, and this is what he came up with. If I do say so he did a awesome job in the amount of time he did it in. Tucker got this etch-a-sketch a while ago.  Everyone has had fun with it. When Tucker found out I was taking a picture of it he wanted in.

Anniversary!

Randan and I have only been married for six years. March 3, 2012 was are six year anniversary. Compared to some not a very long time, and others we are veterans. Sometimes it feels like forever, and other times like it has gone by in a flash.
We went to a club/ bar. Yes, I know. "Avoid even the appearance of evil," and I am going to make an excuse another big no no, but if you could just try these stakes you would understand. They melt in your mouth.  Well all their food for that matter. They grill their veggies, and a loaded mashed garlic potato. Yum!  I am salivating just typing about it. Maybe I should eat some breakfast before I write about food.
After we ate dinner we went to a movie. We saw "The Vow." I was a little nervous to see it, because I had some friends say it was sad. I hate when a movie has a sad ending. I don't watch a movie to see what can happen in real life. I watch one to have the happy ending. I didn't want to cry. I have to say it was better then I thought.
I really enjoyed our date.
I bet you are wondering why the picture of the third volume of  "The work and the glory." Well I will tell you. He made the comment once on how he would like to read these books, but he would never have the time to do it. I came up with a solution. about two to three years ago I stared getting the books in CD for a Christmas hear a birthday there, so he could  lesson while he was driving truck, or driving somewhere long distance. He has really enjoyed it, so when I need a idea on what to get him for a re anniversary a light bulb went on. I wish I could have recorded his reaction, because in all the years I have been giving him gifts he has never responded that well. For the first split second I thought he was teasing me, but no he really was excited. That was as good as a gift for me I have always wanted him to react that way so I knew if I did a good job or not. I sometimes have a hard time reading him.
All in all it was a very fun evening.
