Randan and I have only been married for six years. March 3, 2012 was are six year anniversary. Compared to some not a very long time, and others we are veterans. Sometimes it feels like forever, and other times like it has gone by in a flash.
We went to a club/ bar. Yes, I know. "Avoid even the appearance of evil," and I am going to make an excuse another big no no, but if you could just try these stakes you would understand. They melt in your mouth. Well all their food for that matter. They grill their veggies, and a loaded mashed garlic potato. Yum! I am salivating just typing about it. Maybe I should eat some breakfast before I write about food.
After we ate dinner we went to a movie. We saw "The Vow." I was a little nervous to see it, because I had some friends say it was sad. I hate when a movie has a sad ending. I don't watch a movie to see what can happen in real life. I watch one to have the happy ending. I didn't want to cry. I have to say it was better then I thought.
I really enjoyed our date.
I bet you are wondering why the picture of the third volume of "The work and the glory." Well I will tell you. He made the comment once on how he would like to read these books, but he would never have the time to do it. I came up with a solution. about two to three years ago I stared getting the books in CD for a Christmas hear a birthday there, so he could lesson while he was driving truck, or driving somewhere long distance. He has really enjoyed it, so when I need a idea on what to get him for a re anniversary a light bulb went on. I wish I could have recorded his reaction, because in all the years I have been giving him gifts he has never responded that well. For the first split second I thought he was teasing me, but no he really was excited. That was as good as a gift for me I have always wanted him to react that way so I knew if I did a good job or not. I sometimes have a hard time reading him.
All in all it was a very fun evening.
Happy Anniversary!!
