Raegan's First Birthday!

So when we found out we were having a girl I got more and more excited as the pregnancy went along. I knew I was going to get to dress her up, and do her hair, and paint her nails (when she gets old enough that is). I could go on for ever of all the fun things I thought of . I remember when we had Raegan and brought her home there would be these special moments that her and I would share I could feel the spirit so strong. It made me emotional. As she has gotten older it doesn't happen as often, (I hope it's not because of me) but I steel have those moments and cherish them. I am so glade that Raegan is apart of our life's she is a complete joy to have.
I also have made it a goal to do some fun party's on mile stone birthday's. I figure making it to
"ONE YEAR"
is a big deal. Right?  I had been looking up some ideas for Tucker's Fifth Birthday  ( he wants to do "Angry Birds") When I saw the idea for a "Carnival Party" I thought that would be fun  for her and all her cousins. I found lots of cute ideas some of witch you see in the pictures. It was a lot of work. I didn't want to spent a lot of money so I tried to make a lot of the things, and use what we had around the house, and on that note I think it turned out ok. Not exactly how I pictured it, but not to bad. I wanted everyone who came to get a picture at the photo booth but we had so many things that we got stragglers. I learned a lesson there. I hope that all the kids had fun there favorite seemed to bee the ball toss. I guess that is what happens when you have a lot more boys then girls.
P.S. I hate me in the pictures, but I wanted Raegan to be in them, so no getting around it I guess.

  2. Kathy, you did such a cute job! We need to get together, I am so bad at keeping in touch. Seriously, we live in the same town now we should have no excuses! :)

Anyway, don't hate yourself in photos. You are such a wonderful and beautiful mother! I used to do that, but the thing is, those photos will be important to Raegan one day and she will love seeing her mom in them. I wish I had more photos of me and my mom when I was little, don't you??
    love ya!
