Good Bad and Ugly

My mom has wanted to have more storage in her kitchen since she bought the house, and she defiantly has the room. We bought some pre fab cabinets at Lowes, and put them together to make a pantry. I wish I would have got a final product picture,  but this was a month or more long project, and I think I forgot to get one.
Looking at the bottom picture maybe my mom doesn't want me to help her with any more projects I was drilling in screws and she was holding the cabinets, and I drilled right through her finger.  I think that qualifies for the bad and ugly.

Harvest Creation 2017

Well this wasn't our first attempt this year, but our best outcome. He sure is proud of it and right up his ally with the Legos.

Dance

This little girl has wanted to take dance from the Power House studio for about two years. We were having ice cream one night at Cold Stone and she saw some girls come out all dressed up in the dance cloths. She was enamored.
This is our first day. Sorry for the picture quality I had to take it fast,  and through the window.

Miscellaneous

This year. To be more specific this summer I was put into the Young Women's.  I am the secretary. about a month or two after we were put in was when the girls went to girls camp. The director asked of I would help with some gifts for the girls.  Of course I obliged. The theme this year was President Hinckley's B's (We were Be Smart).  I tell ya this was so much fun. The bag was full with honey flavored snacks. The cup had a tic tack toe game. There is a neckless with a poem about a bee and how by the laws of nature it shouldn't be able to fly,  and the jar had Burt's Bees products.  I wanted all of them.

This little girl wont stop sucking on a rag. Must feel good to her teeth.

First Day of School 2017

This one was taken fright out side her school. She was so excited. She had been talking about it for a year and half.

It is a very surreal  feeling to have two kids in school.  One in third and one in pre-school. These are the moments when I realize that time does fly.

Memorial Day 2017

This year for Memorial Day we went with Randan's family on Sunday to deliver flowers, we went to the Jensen cemetery and the Drive fork cemetery.  Granny Mae at Jensen and Pa Dean at Drive fork.
After words we stopped at a park and ate sandwiches and played some ball.
The next day Tucker, Raegan, Madalynn, Mom, and Grandma Southam went to my family which is all buried at the Vernal Cemetery.  That evening we ate at moms house with Christine and her kids and Randan.
I know that we celebrate Memorial Day mainly because we want to pay respect to the men, and women that severed for our country. Which I am very grateful for.  I am just glade we get to recognize our family member as well.

Spring ball 2017

This is our third year of playing spring ball, but first on city league. He really enjoyed it. I was very impressed with his coach. He taught Tucker more this spring season then Tucker learned all the other seasons combine.
Tuck would play first a lot, sometimes third, and short stop. Once he was catcher, and once pitcher. His team was the Angels. They were a pretty good little team.
True to spring ball, you never knew what king of weather you were going to get, so I always packed for winter, and summer.  It felt like I was packing the hole house every time, but I got a system and it worked. One of Tuckers games the heavens opened up, and man it hailed.
Randan and I were so sick that night, we had some kind of stomach flu, he was loose, and I was throwing up. Luckily the kids never got it.
I completely love watching him play ball. When he concentrates he is a pretty good little player.
