The other night when I was getting Tucker ready for bed Randand hollered at me wanting to see if I wanted to see his owl. I did, and this is what he came up with. If I do say so he did a awesome job in the amount of time he did it in. Tucker got this etch-a-sketch a while ago. Everyone has had fun with it. When Tucker found out I was taking a picture of it he wanted in.

Anniversary!
Randan and I have only been married for six years. March 3, 2012 was are six year anniversary. Compared to some not a very long time, and others we are veterans. Sometimes it feels like forever, and other times like it has gone by in a flash.
We went to a club/ bar. Yes, I know. "Avoid even the appearance of evil," and I am going to make an excuse another big no no, but if you could just try these stakes you would understand. They melt in your mouth. Well all their food for that matter. They grill their veggies, and a loaded mashed garlic potato. Yum! I am salivating just typing about it. Maybe I should eat some breakfast before I write about food.
After we ate dinner we went to a movie. We saw "The Vow." I was a little nervous to see it, because I had some friends say it was sad. I hate when a movie has a sad ending. I don't watch a movie to see what can happen in real life. I watch one to have the happy ending. I didn't want to cry. I have to say it was better then I thought.
I really enjoyed our date.
I bet you are wondering why the picture of the third volume of "The work and the glory." Well I will tell you. He made the comment once on how he would like to read these books, but he would never have the time to do it. I came up with a solution. about two to three years ago I stared getting the books in CD for a Christmas hear a birthday there, so he could lesson while he was driving truck, or driving somewhere long distance. He has really enjoyed it, so when I need a idea on what to get him for a re anniversary a light bulb went on. I wish I could have recorded his reaction, because in all the years I have been giving him gifts he has never responded that well. For the first split second I thought he was teasing me, but no he really was excited. That was as good as a gift for me I have always wanted him to react that way so I knew if I did a good job or not. I sometimes have a hard time reading him.
All in all it was a very fun evening.

Piggy Bank!
I had to jot this one down, because it made me laugh so hard.
Yesterday Tucker was playing with something he shouldn't, and I told him to quit playing with it. Being his typical three year old self he keep in playing with it. A second time I said "Please don't play with that Tucker ,we don't have the money to replace it," and this time (with a little smile) I got this response :" I have money in my piggy bank you can have." I was quite taken back, so I just sat there for a split second. You know how fast your thoughts go. I thought " man I am in big trouble if I have a three year old that smart." They need to send expecting parents to school, because I think that kids are getting smarter and smarter.

Tuck's new bedroom!
My son is now a official "Big Boy." He has a big boy bed, and new room. He loves it. The bed frame was given to us by my mother and father- in law. It was a OK yellow, but when I started looking for bedding the brown worked better. The book shelf was given to us by my old bosses. When he retired from the laundry business he took up wood working. I have a few items he made, and gave to me. In fact the shelf at the foot of the bed(if you can see it) was also given to us, I think for are wedding. (I want to eventually paint that one of the blues that the picture frames are in) His shop is amazing. Randan drooled when he saw it. The room is a bit bigger then the room we had him in. I like it because there is a lot more storage. It can stay more organized. Everyone who knows me knows that's a huge thing. It also is at the other end of the house which has its pros and cons for me. Pros: We don't have to be as quiet. Cons: What if a fire started. it was fun putting this together for him. I am steel working on the decorating part. You can see I started with his name on the wall. I have seen this done in many forms and always thought it was a fun idea. I had a lot of wall space to fill. It worked perfect. All in all I like the room and am glade we did it.

Brushing teeth!
We are learning how to brush our teeth. I am sad this picture doesn't do what I saw justice. He had toothpaste all the way up to his hair line. He got this tooth brush for Christmas from his Aunt Rhonda. I guess it's more powerful then he thought. He has hit the independent stage. He sayes: "Me do it." We are trying to teach him to say "I". He is stubborn just like his two parents. What can I say.

Three Years!
Two days ago my mother-in-law called wanting to know if I was home. She had something to drop off. I told her I was, and this is what she dropped off. A gerbra daisy in a bud vase. I think that it is just lovely. She wanted me to know that she was thinking of me. What a sweet gesture. It was three years to the day that my dad had passed a way. A few nights ago Randan, and I were talking about Leap Year. We couldn't remember how it went. If we gain a day or loose a day. I knew just who to call to solve this delima. The only problem was he wouldn't be able to answer my phone call. I miss my dad yes, but I will tell you what I told my mother-in-law. I am so glade to have the knowledge of the gospel.

Tucker's Third Bithday
Tucker just turned 3 yeas old. Wow! I cant believe it. I just went through all the old pictures on my computer and saw all the pictures I took when he was a few months and a year and two years. It really took me back. I just need to get him potty trained. He has been so stubborn with this concept.
For his third birthday we decided to take him to a new place that just opened about 4-6 months ago called Jump-n- Jiven. the have a lot of the blow up slides, bouncy things, and obstacle courses Tucker loves slide. At a park that is pretty much all he will do. January is such a hard time of year for that sort of stuff, so we decided this would be perfect. I think he had a really fun time. He is also way into dinosaurs, so if you cant tell that is what his cake was this year. I didn't have a lot of time to get way creative so its just a generic cake. He got to keep the dinosaurs on top so I don't think he cared much what it looked like.
